Permits, dry-in and lake weather on a Tavares roof
Before a single shingle comes off a Tavares house, the city's own Roofing Permit packet has to be completed. The City of Tavares publishes that packet alongside its other building permit forms, and its Community Development, Building Department takes finished paperwork by email at the city's permits address. For a home within the city line, that means the re-roof permit is a city matter, not a Lake County one. One form on the Tavares Building Department list, a Dry-In Inspection Affidavit, points at the middle of the job rather than the end.
